In Nashville people gather and they sing. They don’t need a stage. A dinner table will work.
Egos don’t factor in the equation of the fellowship of music. Note: fellowship. Nashville is called Music City but it might well be called Loving City.
People sing together, dance and cry together. People serve one another. Music carries something between people and maybe that makes Nashville a kind place, more patient and willing to understand others.

More loving–at least as long as the quality of Nashville’s fellowship culture is protected. It was a magical night we shared. Friends gathered for dinner and whiskey at The Standard Club at The Smith House on Rosa Parks on a cold December night. One of them produced a guitar and the sharing ensued.
