When Rose was little her father took her to Nashville&#8217;s Percy Warner Park. Rose fell in love with the trails, the woodlands and majestic stairway to the forest. As a teenager Rose recounts her history not only with the parks but with one of the people responsible for protecting the parks, Clare Armistead, whom Rose had come to be friends with.
