A group of women pray together prior to a women’s fellowship at Corinthian Baptist Church on 33rd Ave N. In Nashville, October 2017. The event was hosted by Corinthian Baptist Church minister, the Reverend Enoch Fuzz.
As the women gathered at the church Reverend Fuzz said, “they wanted to meet one another and get to know one another. These are white women and black women who ordinarily would not know one another.”
They were a hundred women or more who had been meeting quietly behind the scenes at little get-togethers for months, Fuzz said. On this day they were coming together to sing and pray and deepen their friendships. Fuzz said this is Nashville beyond business, beyond music and culture. This is Nashville getting to know one another.
