Community leader and volunteer Derrick Strode is one of many people who treat Mount Carmel Baptist Church as a home away from home. On any given day the church is a highway of activity, from children’s programs, youth mentorship programs, tutoring, feeding programs, or just someone needing to hop on the internet to do a little work. It is a true street level ministry and community of friends.
